I was panicing.

We had set this up and been planning for over a month. My dreams of doing a gorgeous mountain bridal shoot seemed to be crumbling when I saw those huge thunder clouds rolling in above us. Gisella (the lovely florist for this shoot) and I sat in our cars and talked through our cracked windows as the skies poured down rain.

But, thankfully, we live in Colorado. The land of "wait 10 minutes and the weather will change."

Once Emma arrived the rain had stopped, so she got in Truvelle's gorgeous "Taylor" gown and we tip toed up the wet mountain together.

So thankful that life isn't what you plan for it to be. It wasn't sunshine and butterflies at this shoot. Instead it was low clouds and distant lightning. Which was unexpected. And completely awesome.
