I'm so thankful for awesome community within the photography world. Gibbens was referred to me to photograph his engagement at Cloud Camp at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs.

Before this, I had never heard of Cloud Camp, but Drew and I were excited to see what it was all about. We got into a private van at the Broadmoor which drove us thirty minutes to the tippy top of the mountain. I kept thinking, "Where on earth are we going?!" But once we got there, it all made sense. This place was a total oasis in the woods.

Hammocks. Yard games. Incredible views. Endless hikes. Hot tubs tucked into the woods ( mean, come on!).

Gibbens had popped the question the night before, so Lacey was sporting her new bling and newly engaged glow when we met. Together they are such a sweet, caring pair. They have been sharing life and love together for many years and as their lives continue to grow together, they knew it was time to get married. We are truly happy to see what the future holds for these two!
